Courses & Events 11 September 2002, Wednesday Red Cross Heroes' Breakfast Time: 8:00am Location: Atlantic Beach Club - Middletown, RI Join us for a Red Cross Heroes Breakfast as the kick-off to the East Bay Day of Remembrance. We'll be honoring local heroes in the East Bay for their important contributions to their community, as well as local police and firefighters. Hosted by Newport Mayor Richard Sardella and Middletown Town Council President Mike Kehew, this breakfast will be followed by a day of special activities to mark the anniversary of September 11th. The Newport Daily News will be covering the breakfast and nominations are still being sought for heroes.
