Instructor Courses

Purpose:
Train candidates as instructors for the following courses:

Adult CPR
Infant and Child CPR
Community CPR
Basic First Aid
Community First Aid and Safety
CPR for the Professional Rescuer
Babysitting
'Til Help Arrives.

Prerequisites:

Minimum age of 17 by the end of course.
Attend all scheduled sessions .
Possess an Instructor Candidate Training (ICT) -or- Fundementals of Instructor Training (FIT) certificate issued in the last 12 months or a current Health and Safety Services instructor authorization.

Learning Objectives:

Use program materials effectively.
Plan and conduct effective courses.
Evaluate progress of participants for certification.
Prepare and submit accurate records and reports.

Registration Information:

Must make payment and pick up course materials at least 72 hours prior to the start of the first session.
Self study materials must be completed prior to start of first session.
Successfully complete precourse session, consisting of first aid and CPR skills and knowledge evaluation for the particular instructor program.

Course Fee: $135.00 (for CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor Program)
Fee reimbursement plans available, call for information.
