Under the direction of an all-volunteer board, the ideal candidate will lead the effort to increase the organization's profile, community awareness, service delivery and funding level. Red Cross, the United Way and
Providence Fire Department
responding to crisis and
seeking community assistance

(Providence, RI – February 4, 2008) An alarming increase in house and apartment fires across the state resulting in several deaths, significant injuries and loss of homes has prompted the American Red Cross Rhode Island Chapter, United Way of Rhode Island, and the Providence Fire Department to join forces to respond to the crisis.  (read more)
